Revenge of the gremlins!
Well got car stripped and in primer!! Looks great except a few more slight adjustments to my handy work. Well my turn signal and head light switch is broke but still usable. But today I have one head light and the turn signals don't work at all. So pulled some fuses got the second head light to work "VERY dim" I hot wired my hazard switch so now the turn-signals work without a key. Now that cascaded to my gauges that did still work now do not. But the vapor lock fan will not stop running. Car starts and idles fine ground wire is new.? This all occurred when I played with the fuses. Is there 2 ecus in this car my s10 did this and it was based on the computer system? Any ideas. Traced the wires looked good? I'm stumped

Removed my "Fix" Didn't help.... Digging into the fuse box now........Who ever owned the car got old brown and white ext. cord running in and out of the fuse box. So FUN FUN rip apart the kick panel carpet and glove box to see what the hell this S#@! Goes to. Bought it of a 17 y/o kid go figure!

hmm, sounds like some aftermarket stereo/alarm was installed by a place like bestbuy/circuit city.
i had similar stuff under the driver side dash for the alarm system that isnt in my car any more.
it would cause the anetnna to try to move when i left the wipers on when i shut the car off. took about a day to get it sorted and i had to solder in new sections of wire because they butt ****ed connectored the whole job but its back to stock and electrically sound and sealed
i say since things arent working any way, yank the battery, yank the wire thats not supposed to be there and play match the colors and mabe get it all back to stock like from the factory and then before putting the battery back in check the fusable links for stupid stuff

Tellem...... not all but most! You don't chop a harness on a Vintage car to install Neon's. Found my prob by the way had holes 6" apart all around under the car And a chopped wire drilled through the floor. That was shoved into the Left headlight fuse socket. My dim head lamp. Then the A$$hole had a wire going to the trunk "amp" that was tied into the "gauge socket" then his splices were spliced so when I jiggled the fuses around the wires made a short. So kiddies lesson learned is #1 your young...#2 you got a performance car....#3 neon's and loud thumpin is Illegal.....so us old timers that happen to ware a badge get a chubby pullin your young *** over OH AND #4 YOU DONT CHOP A WIRE HARNESS!!!!!!!!! OLD but educated!

Car was Brown with the Brown and light tan int. They threw tiger hair in the holes and had earl shibe paint it in crayola red. So he then decide to sray paint the entire interior black, Got over spray every where. Then he went hmmm Black dash black headliner **** black seats **** you not SPRAY PAINT! LOL 600 solid frame " RARE!!!!!" Least in the rust belt. New motor and front suspension. Deal??? Maybe

i've sprayed interior pannels but you gotta take it outa the car and some times they still dont work out and flake because the vynil over the pannels is so old and crusty.
you also have to use the right stuff, i had some awsome stuff i cant find any more made by a company called HiTech. i sprayed the plastic vents on the car with this stuff and they are still holdin up, said it would paint carpet so i tried it on a old floor mat at my old work...didnt hold up, washed right off....was funky stuff
