runnin a little better...

got my POS running a little better, by simply putting a new battery in it. now it idles just fine, and doesnt cut out under boost, unless there is VERY little gas in it. kinda weird how something so simple can make such a BIG difference!!

it really sucks the car is so far gone, cause i do like it, just cant see putting the time/money into it. especaily since im on the home strech of my 3.4 DOHC fiero build!

personaly wasnt too impressed, i mean the GT 2.8 120HP and the 2.5 90 HP 4 banger... NAH mine...

1993 Lumina Z34 engine, not gonna say what i have done, cause there isnt a lot YET, but should be puttin out a little over 250HP until i get all my turbo stuff fitted, then will be puttin down over 350RWHP. with a nice 5 speed with LSD, and poly suspension... i could get more into but this isnt really the place.

www.fiero.nl have the same screen name over there (SLOWnSTEADY)

There's a guy that brings a Fiero GT into my shop all the time that has an LS1 swap!!!! It took him a few years and a crapload of money, but he managed to stuff it in there. That thing is insane!!!

Yeah, it's still a mid engine!
I wouldn't believe it either if I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes.

They stuff them in sideways, like the V-6 is originally. A friend of mine has a Northstar in his Fiero GT, that's insanely fast, also.

youd be surprised what you can fit in a fiero, the LQ1 (my swap) is one of the fastest swaps, with TONS of potential!! the main swaps are...

3.4L Twin Dual Cam
3800 supercharged series I and II
SBC
northstar
3.4L PR (camaro/firebird)

but there are taleast like 10 other. the LQ1 is pretty cheap to do and has 220HP stock, and with the 24 valve heads, they are INSANE with a little boost!
the LQ1 pretty much eats the other swaps, with the exception of the 3800SC

i only have like $500 into my engine portion of the swap, and im nearly done, i have over $2000 in suspension/brakes/wheels/clutch etc...

The rear end of that car is effectively a citation front end turned around backwards anyway's.

I remember trying to order tie rod ends for the rear of a Fiero many years ago and having no luck. A guy I worked with at the time told me about the Citation thing and... Sure enough, Citation tie rod ends were the exact parts we needed. Go figure.

Holy crap. He fit an LS1 in a Fiero GT... thats freakin insane. I bet he has a lot of patience on doing that swap project. If you can take some pictures of that crap omg. A lil fiero in the weighing under 3,000 lbs having 350 horse 365 ft lbs... Monster.
