S130 aero kit from Japan

I just found this website called s130.net I am not sure if anyone has heard of this but I looked at the gallery and there was some pretty sick 280zx's and I am guessing most of them were from japan. This car, not so much the car itself but the aero kit and spoiler really got my attention. I was just wondering if anyone knows were they can be found. I don't thnk I have seen that exact spoiler on an s130 before, I don't know if it is just me but I thnk it looks great. I would have posted pics but I can still not figure out how to post pictures!

Picture 1- http://www.s130.net/photo/p_sait_03.html
picture 2- http://www.s130.net/photo/p_sait_05.html
picture 3- http://www.s130.net/photo/p_sait_06.html

Thanks
Rob

In one of the other galleries you can see a s130 with a sweet g-nose conversion. Awsome find.

Why do the JDM versions of cars always have to be so much better than what we get here? Or is it that we cant get them here and thats what makes us want them. Always wanting the stuff we cant have . . .im just babling now

This one is nice . . .

I would have to say the it is definately because JDM cars are much better. That Gnose looks awesome. I wish someone could identify that kit, atleast that spoiler, you have to be able to get that some were in this country??

I like that white one. The black one didn't really strike me as special. It was a good looking car though. Here's another pic of that white one : http://www.s130.net/photo/p_ishi_01.html
Now if I could just read Japanese I Could check out the rest of the site.

I love that S130 web site... I've got their main page bookmarked @ home. http://www.s130.net/photo/photo_01.html

They make 2+2's look sick!

The last pic shows the 240Z Fairlady mirrors I was planning to use. And it looks like they use an older S30 Fairlady spoiler on the back of the silver turbo car. That would work sweet. I think thy point upward a bit too much on the 240Z, but on the 2+2 hatch it angles the lip more at a 45 deg angle.

I agree with lww... I was also going to say that the little spoiler looks like the one you see on a lot of S30s.

Was the 2+2 more popular in Japan? It seems like a good portion of that site is the 2+2. If so we better spread the word and ****** up the 2+2's, once all the JDM guys get word of this they'll want the 280ZX 2+2.

It seems like there are a lot of cars on that site with that small spoiler, it does look like the factory s30 spoiler. So do you think if I got a hold of one of those I could get it to fit? There is just something about that spoiler that I think changes the entire look of the car.
Thanks
Rob

Yes, I think the 2+2's are a lot more popular outside the country. I think the 2+2's on that site all look pretty crazy, I don't see to many modified 2+2's.

About 75% of 280ZXs [both turbo and N/A] were 2+2s. Europe was in the same boat. Australia got the shaft and only got N/A 2+2s. Which I don't see as that bad ...

Nismo, you and I are 2+2 addicts. Rock on.

That looks like a Mazda badge on the hood. I am pretty sure I saw a few cars that said datsun. I just noticed the one I thought was not from japan but I know I saw a couple with the old style datsun badges. I remember one guy had one on his spoiler.

The Japanese car culture tends to pride itself on the use of their home grown products. I don't think its a matter of trying to "americanize" their cars. I think it's more so them finding parts for their cars that are rare. You gotta figure an emblem or part sold only on an American version of that car is going to be hard to come by in Japan. They don't suffer from the JDM fever so many people have over here. It started the same way, people just wanting to do something different by getting parts from Japan that were non existant here in the states. Now people are just doing it cause it's "cool" to have your car JDM. I think its just a crock of ish. There are american companies making just as good of parts as many Japanese companies. And if you really want good parts then the craze should be EDM. You can figure that one out. Cause anyone whos ever sat in a Recaro and then a Bride will know that the Recaro is superior. If Japanese companies are making such great parts then why are companies like Nissan slapping Italian parts on their super car? There's something for the JDM freaks to toss around in their heads

No offense to anyone but I can't stand Euro lenses or altezzas or what ever ya want to call them!! Very few cars can pull them off and its usually just cars that came with them from the factory.

Yeah I agree there. Leave the Altezza taillights on just that ... The Toyota Altezza [IS200/300]!

I've always liked the design of S2000 taillights, though ... hmm ...

Oh sure, I bring up Euro and people start talking about lighting You mean those altezzas wont look good on my ZX Well that sucks No seriously though, even the L is a European design that Nissan jacked off of Prince. And just think, if Renault hadn't bought up practically every share in Nissan and pulled it up out of a bankruptcy that was so deep any other company would've tucked their tails in between their legs and wimpered away, then Nissan would be another company that USED to prouduce the Z. It almost makes me wonder if Renault had more to do with the Z coming back then Nissan did Hmm... And if thats enough Euro for you, how about Carlos Goshn as head honcho at Nissan? Mark Fields is CEO of Mazda. Rick Gilligan is the succesor of several non Japanese owners for Mitsubishi. It's just a little ironic to me when a Japanese car company isn't really much of a Japanese car company. Especially since practically all the "Japanese" cars we see here in the states are built right here in the states. I think the whole where the car is from thing is pretty moot if you ask me.

Of course if you like bad hair, raw fish and '**** without a view' then JDM is your bag baby

Forgive me for preaching. My hands hurt from sanding and I'm bored
