S130 Digital heating and air control problem
I have an 83 s130 non-turbo with the digital package. My problem is the HVAC controls. Air compressor is stuck on, no heat available and it basically does whatever it wants. My Nissan mechanic has nothing to go by and we don;t know where to find parts. Any ideas guys? Thanks for the help!

Welcome to ZDriver!
So the a/c compressor is always engaged, when the HVAC fan is on? Or when the engine is running? I can't imagine it's running ALL THE TIME when the engine is running...
Anyway, I assume you have the ACC (Auto Climate Control), which is uber sensitive. Everything is run / activated by vacuum, by about 20 diff vacuum lines. If the control box doesn't get any vacuum signal, it defaults to floor & defrost, usually with no heat.
So... check all vacuum lines. There are two that run from the intake / vacuum tank through the firewall. After 30 years, most of the connections have cracked.
Also, buy a Haynes manual from your local parts store, or download the FSM from www.xenons130.com/reference
And you can buy all parts from MSA, BDA, or Nissan. (We even have a thread on WHERE TO BUY PARTS FOR YOUR 280ZX).

Don't forget to unclog that sensor in the dash. It's a little round thingy by the center speaker on the dash (well...left speaker, but it's in the middle of the dash). 20 some-odd years of dust and junk won't let it get a good reading.
But yeah, chase down those vac lines and connections. If it's too far gone, you may want to do the manual conversion.
