anybody heard this one before? about a saudi prince buying zeds where he can then having them shipped back to saudi? some guy told me the other day as he heard the rumor then when he was selling his had a guy come make an offer on it who admitted to working for the prince. they get about 13 or so minimum at a time so they can ship them back over there

 

Sounds like the well known Craigslist scam... Saudi Prince needs your help! Willing to pay you with cashiers check to help him obtain the car of his dreams!

You get the check... ship the car... check is fake... you lose the $$$ on the car... get a fat fine from the bank... low life scammer gets your car for free and laughs all day long.

 

yeah well this guy came up and gave him cash. unless they are pushing counterfit notes

 

thats possible, arround me locally theres a problem with fake 10's.

some one gave me a funny look when i gave them the big face 10 that wasnt all colorful like the new ones. i was like how dumb are you these didnt change that long ago!

 

i sold my 81zx to some big name guy in saudi, he sent me an email two months later saying that it was restored and driving, but never got a response back.

 

i got some call from some arabic guy for his friend that didnt speak english about my 260 (my D-bag dad listed it for 2.5k though and i want it up there for 3k) so when i told him that he was like OK BUDDY and hung up. then called the next day and asked the same damn thing. lol.

 

I sold some 280ZX parts on eBay to a guy in Kuwait. The money was good and he said he got the parts and they worked. He even sent me pics of his car at a car club event... had Kuwait license plates and all.
(just a 280ZX 2+2 though)
