as a few of you know i got my 280zx about a month or so.. give or take a few days... but.. i dondt kno wwhat i wanna do anymore... i got it for 200 bucks and i put like 200-250 in it.. and i think i wanna sell it to get a 300zx-tt... but should i keep it and get the 300 and come back when i have the cash? or just sell it?? if i would sell it.. do any of you would think you will buy it for 400? in LA

 

Post it on craigslist or similar local classifieds & see if it sells.

 

you want to get a 300ZX TT... your gonna sepnd a lot more on that then you might think.. its a car that a lot of mechanics dont like working on.. theres just no room.. so expect to pay a lot more for service on that car...

 

And they require a LOT more maintenance. Like A LOT! = A LOT more money...

 

If you want to be forever broke... buy a Z32TT

Make sure you also buy a Honda Civic or something at the same time, so that you'll have something to drive during the 9 months out of the year that your twin turbo is broke down

So you are giving up already? You only barely had it a month, and your throwing in the towel? And getting a Z32TT? Big time maintenance, as people have said. You are looking at a money pit. The 280zx is user friendly, compared to most vehicles you see. Unless it is a good old American V-8, but they don't last as long as a good ol' Datsun. Anyway my opinion, don't give up yet. If I thought that way, when I was restoring my 280zx. He still would be looking like a basket case. I have come a long way, and have reaped the rewards. And as soon as I get him back onto the road again, which will be soon. I will have more rewards to receive. Keep at it man, it will be worth it. You got a steal for that car, and you haven't put that much into it. You are close, I know it, I wish I was closer, so I could help you out. Keep asking us questions, and we will try and continut feeding you advice, and tips, so you can get your Z running.

hey.. decied not to sell it.. but i got another problem.. i post it up on the thred aready but idk... it say "another problem".... it jurks but i htink it might be a cluch... but if its the cluch wouldnt it happen to all gears??.. so idk

and hten sometime when i hit a hard bumb... and idel comes back down.. it feels like its gonna stall and all the lights come on, on the pannle like the (break light, seatbelt, fuel) all the light.. and it comes back on.. and when i rev it.. it does it sometime too when it gets back down.( the rpm gage)

 

OK, not to be an ***,but you need to check your spelling, 'cause from what I read, i can't make heads or tails out of. We are all here to help you, but we need to know how in english....
