Some recent pics and a few questions *56k hell no*

Hey guys, I know it's been a long time since I posted, (more then a year) but I lurk here everyday and love the community. So I thought I would participate, post up a few recent pics to share, and ask a couple of questions.

First I hate the stock steering wheel, it looks like a Ford wheel. I have been looking for a replacement for over a year but I can't find anything that will flow well with the interior. I just want something that looks 80's, sporty, and will go with the overall interior style, like something angular looking you know? Nothing modern and ricer looking. I would like a three spoke or a 4 spoke similar to the Nardi Gara, but that wheel has just too much going on with it...the different colors and the six exposed bolts and all.

Why is it so damn hard to find something like this? I have searched on this topic, but I have not found anything relevant. If you think you have found a sutible replacement please enlighten me.
Also, I am most likely going to paint the wheel brown to match the interior. I guess I will need paint that will adhere to plastic or leather, depending? Can Home Depot or some other paint store match the brown interior color if I take in a sample?

Anyway sorry for the babbling, on to the pics. She just rolled 45k.

Should I powder coat my wheels gold like my original iron crosses, Or leave em dark? It would be a darker gold to match the pinstripe. And if you got any other suggestions, throw em my way! Sometimes you get thinking inside the box ya know?

Gorgeous pics bro. MSA sells a few different s-wheels & BDA too.

Something like this:

Gives a go-kart feel. And you want to powder coat your new wheelz? I say DON'T TOUCH THEM...

That's a frickin' nice looking Z there!

Leave the wheels alone, they look sexy just the way they are.

Dude if you powder coat those rims I will hunt you down and gut you like a fish...or something to that effect. J/K I think those rims, color and all flow nice with that car....HOWEVER I would paint those B-Pillar covers like I did on my '82 N/A. All the steering wheels are Grant Steering Wheels

Besides the steering wheel i would leave it as it is. There is a vinal/plastic specific paint you can buy that will work on the steering wheel. But keep in mind that the oil from your hands plus heat and constant rubbing from your hands will fade and rub away at any coloring you put on it.

Those look like Sportmax 002's in black. Leave them alone, they look good. I have the same wheels on my 81 in black 16x8. In order to powder coat them you'd have to strip the clear coat and the black base off.
