Something is getting worse

Alright I don't know what it is, but for some reason it's like my car is getting progressively worse. It still runs good but the idle just keeps going down hill. I had it die out on me twice while idling, starts right back up will stay fine if I give some throttle. Fuel pressure is 30psi spot on. I got on the freeway and hammered it and the car really went good right up to 6k rpm with no problem.

I can't figure it out, my mixture is off, or spark is not right or something, either that or I've developed some nice vacuum leak. Sometimes my vacuum will be right about 19-20 inHG at idle and it will idle smooth, other times my vacuum is like 15 inHG and the idle is really lopey. I can't figure it out. I adjusted the timing today because it was really retarded, but that didn't seem to help the idle.

the dieing i had was the matchbox on the dizzy. the actual connection was old and i had to replace it. the wires would kinda wiggle and then it would fall on its face, restart and keep going like yours. i also had the matchbox do this as well. as for the leak, unplug your air bypass and cold start, they could be causing that. if its vacuum, then spray with brake kleen or carb cleaner, and see what area its from. maybe an injector seal, or rubber boot.

Sounds like it's time to go through the motions again. I wouldn't be surprised if another connection needs to be taken care of. I keep coming across wiring problems. Maybe I need to go custom harness and MS to take care of this.

Time to go through clean all connections, and brakleen the manifold some more.
