yea, and it's a POS "rebuilt" head lol
and AFAIK, all P90 heads were stamped P90, regardless of it being solid or hydraulic (talking the same place where the "N42" "N47" markings are at on the right side of the head).

All the heads stamped "P90" are solid lifter heads (81), some of the early 82's are stamped "P90A" but still have solid lifters and later 82 and 83 are all stamped "P90A" and have hydraulic lifters

im so confused now ^^^^^
so what have we agreed on, its stamped P90A for hydro head and P90 for solid or is there still a dispute going, cause i have a motor from i believe an 82 with a head stamped P90 and was excited to not have the POS hydraulic lifters (which is weird since hydraulic lifters are a god send on every other car in the world haha)

yes. A P90A hydro is good for about 3-400Hp if you don't plan on going above 6500rpm or so. Which isnt bad, but the problem is there are no replacement lifters, period. The one and only place you can get them is from another used P90A head. Nissan's long been out and theres no after market support.

if you running stock systems. go with a stage 1 cam. it will give you a lil more, will run better since it's a lil less demanding. and of course, you can learn how to adjust to that easier then fckin up a good motor running to lean. just my cents
