Startup Problem?

Startup Problem?
The Z died on me 3 days ago, I started it up and the rpm would go to about 1000, then decrease until it died. 
I could get it to start, I just had to rev the motor for a few seconds, then it would be fine. most of the time it works perfectly!
what gives?

My NA 1981 280zx is having the same problem as you kingdatsun, did you find a solution?
I just pulled my AFM and it's perfect inside, no grime. I've already replaced the vacuum tubes.
Time to check everything else I suppose...
