Talking steal of a deal

So I sold some rims to a car I parted out a year ago to my buddy for $50. He sold the car to a kid I know down at the corner store for about a grand, and he has been trying to sell it for the last six months for $600. I was BS'n with the kid fri night, and I asked him if he had sold the car yet, he told me if I wanted it I could have it, ask'd how much and he told me a case of beer, hell I even threw in a bottle of whiskey so for a grand total of $50. in alcohol I scored a na 10/81 2+2 280zx t-top. It even came with the rims I sold my buddy last year, so technicaly I made $1.97 I found in the counsole. ! I got the front end apart cause it was banged up and saw the drivers side strut tower is slightly higher, gonna take it up to buddys shop next week and see if it is worth saving. The three speed auto is shot but I have another 280zx with a 5 spd lined up. T chain is loud I'm gonna see if I can tighten that up tonight, other than that it fires right up, and dosnt even smoke. The odometor says 44,861. The motor is super clean, I really dont think the odmetor has rolled. Already started on the body, I'll post pics this weekend, its saying my file sizes are to big, I cant load pics right now.

You can do what you want with your money, but personally I like to have once nice car. Put that $1000 into your bodywork and professional paint on your best 280ZX turbo instead of buying more projects.

seriously nismo, you collect z project cars like I collect a paycheck. Seems like every couple of weeks you're after another one

^ and not one "complete" car in the bunch.

Pick ONE, and make it nice. Otherwise, you're the punchline to a "You might be a RedNeck if..." Joke.

Imagine if you sold all your other Z's and saved up, you could have a pretty nice ZX.

Or......you could start parting em out you greedy bastard and have your own little southwest Z parts yard Of course finding a Z in good shape in the southwest is like trying to find fake-nudes of the Olsen twins on the internet
