WE found Gold ......my homies Gray HIS mom had a friend that hookED us up with this brown 82 2+2 280zx ...
this car is Z GOLD ..the car was free drity but FREE ..
we washed it up cleaned out all the mold and gross **** ...swap in a extra starter that i had laying around and she fired right up one turn of the key !!!
i couldnt belive it ...mouth all droping open ..it runs just as good as the black ..black had a little more top end but dora holds her own .who ever buys this car is going to be stoked ...the car came with alot of new parts dissy looks new inside ,coil , wires plugs , new toyo tires ...the options this car has are so crazy ..the talking lady works so good everything on the car is in tip top shape ...when you have it locked and lift the door handle , the lites kick on inside the car along with , the key hole on the out side of the door , it lites up in side the hole as well.. if you just leave it alone then the lites dim out after about 5 seconds crazy options..everything works so well and is tight with no lose or out of place peices..Paint on the car is prime other that some light rust spots that we will be fixing ..the under side of this car looks new ..
very clean , the trany looked new along with the cross members frame rails everything ..
i realy cant belive this guy just gave us this car ..i guess he just didnt have time or want to deal with it anymore ..at the end of the colum there is slider that opens the rear windows crazy options this car came loaded...the speedo was acting up so we swaped it out for my old one.all fixed now
some more deep cleaning light rust repair and a for sale sign and we will come up tuff off this old brown girl we call dora ......after she sells we will be buying two or three other z cars that i have in the waiting ..we will fix them up and sell them .i would like to also do a few ae86's or a 240sx ..
Gray and I havent got it all figured out but its going very well as of yet ...AE to Z.... is what we are calling it ..there are plains in the mix for a shop only time will tell ..for now there is alot to do ..
these are the frist pics taken yesturday.. she was still pretty drity but after today she cleaned up better then i thought she ever would ..i will take some more pics in the next few days to let you all see how shes doing ...we are setting the price at $3200.00 OBO we already had a taker but he wanted to put money down and we only want cash up front ..title is clean and ready for tansfer ...as i said there is still alot to do but what needs to be done is so miner.. the miles on this old girl are low 111200 something ,
i cant rember iam tired and not going to go check now but they are about that # ...we plain to paint the hood black in a tight v stlye to take car of the rust that is on the lower front of it ....
gray , did the front lip black today and it turned out so fresh ..gray is a ripper!! ...well off i go ..
more z work to do tomarrow..

It sounds like the begining of a good thing. Good luck selling,im sure youll get close to the price youre asking on ebay or craigslist.

 

Nothing wrong with a 2+2 and a 2-seater. That way you never have to decide which you like better

But that's a nice looking 2+2 congrats on the find.

 

i personnaly like the 2+2 thats why i have 2 of them and there turbo and there 5 speeds to boot .. pfffffff family car.... nah... anyways u know when yoru cruseing around with your best friend in the passenger side.. and your showing off.. u pull up on some fine gurls and ask if they want a ride ... lol just fold up the back seats and let the chicks in... that is if there 5 foot 5 100 lbs thin .. lol ill agree there isnt much room back there but my 2 12 inch subs sure like it back there

 

the family car comment was based on the fact it is an auto, non-turbo, and 2+2. I have the same car as you...

Nice find. Besides the seats, the interior looks to be in great friggin shape. No dash cracks that i could see, everything is there, door panels look awesome. . .Way to go

 

thanks Rod, but his signature says his 1982 280ZX 2+2 is a turbo... mine is better though.

 

the seats dont have any rips ...and now that gray steam cleaned them they look alot better ..
all the sliders and handles are in great working order ...ya tomarrow we are going to do a bunch more stuff ..today i was buzy and couldnt work on it to much

 

got alot done today painted the under lip all around the car black ..fixed the hood up with some bondo and paint ...we took her for a drive and washed her up again ...the gas tank was a little low so the talking lady told us to go get some more gas lolololololololol funny but true .....it started raining so as soon as it stops iam going to take a few pics and i will post them up ...o ya it was tight we drove through safeway ..and a lady turned around looked right at me and said nice car ..it stoked me out so much ...old brown is looking real tight ...pics soon as the rain stops ...sorry
