TPS adjustment

TPS adjustment
Alright, quick question here. I was wondering how you guys adjust the TPS for the turbo cars. I was looking through the Haynes guide. It shows to adjust it with a feeler gauge to .3 mm or something of that sort. This is kind of a high RPM for it to turn off. Haynes shows specs for Turbo models to go off-idle at 700 RPM. So I was wondering if it would make much difference by adjusting it down, so it turns off with just a very tiny amount of throttle?

Duowing, did you end up adjusting your tps as stated in the Haynes manual?
I found this thread last night as I was doing research on the tps. My 280zxt just isn't running as it should. When I go full throttle from a dead stop, it goes 100% lean (like the a/f gauge drops off it's so lean) then kicks back to rich. I've been reading in my Bosch Fuel Injection book about L-jetronic & LH-jetronic systems & how the tps has to be calibrated after removal, adjusting it to 0.00Ohms, then using a feeler gauge at the stopper.
I plan to adjust it this afternoon & also do a burn cycle on my MAF.
