Well my Z has been giving me **** today...surgin and boggin....well I went ahead and got a cap and rotor button....wow what a difference. I compared the old with the new and it was obvious that it had not been changed in years if ever. There is a noticeable power increase and pulls harder in the upper RPM's when floored. It makes me laugh to think less than $10 made my car run so much better.

On a side note, I stopped at a local pawn shop on my way to WalMart to purchase a flashlight and came across some speakers for my car. I bought a pair of Rockford Fosgate Power Coaxial 6 1/2's for $25, the guy thought because they were in a JBL box that, that's what they were...what an idiot! Their loss my gain. The flashlight...I got a headband LED flashlight made by energizer and it kicks ***!! bright as hell and lights op the whole engine bay. Me is in good mood today WHOOP WHOOP!!! <----Edit...Woot Woot!!

i did a tune up on my car Thursday. just small things like spraying out the AFM. Last night i got clocked by a roadside speed sensor racing a mustang gt. fcker clocked me at 142. I slowed down back to 70 after that.

 

lol. i have a 77 N/A with bolt ons. cam, intake, full header, removal of egr, no ac, no fan, all electric. to free up some power. i was back home i got clocked at 147 and got pulled over. i was in uniform. cop came running up to my window, and asked me to pop the hood. his jaw dropped to the FLOOR when he say the origional inline 6. he said he'd never seen a datsun go that fast, shook my hand and let me go.

 

WOW nice cop. Maybe you should buy him case of doghnuts.

 

yeah, get him dog nuts, that'll teach him. good idea skit. lol on a side note i didnt get clocked when i hit 150 once, and when i did get clocked for racin it was only at 81 not the 105 like i was at. phew! got out of it anyways and went home 900 dollars poorer due to racing ticket driving school and lawyer. BLAH! no more stupid **** like that anymore.

 

I was surprised the old bird could still do high speeds. Even though the rear end was wineing it's azz off. She just glided down the road.
