Update: Hit 'n Run
So tonight at about 6:30 while still at the shop, my friend Mark ('85 gold Z31) calls me and tells me that he is literally standing behind the red explorer that hit me! So I call the cops and they sent over a couple officers... Long story short... My buddy spotted the car in an apartment complex right across the street from where I got hit. The car is now impounded, the owner is in jail after lying about his identity and his whole story was bullshit. Sweet.

This is a prime example of the Z community coming together for a fellow Z'er. Mark didn't have to help find the guy, but he did and before the cops showed up, Jeremy ('04 white 350Z) arrived for back up and further scared the caca out of the guy who was busy trying to leave before he got arrested.
What an awesome turn of events.

Right on man, glad to hear the criminal got caught. That will teach him to hit somebody, and try and run off. And then your friend helping you out in locating the *****. Talk about friends in low places, that is the bombdiggetty. Anyway, hope you get the money to fix your car, and take care of your chiropractor bills.
Take care Rod, and once again, great to hear it is starting to work out. Keep us updated.
