Value my car!

How much do you think my 280zx would be worth?

84,300 miles

Runs extremely well

Has an exhaust.

NO AC at the moment though lol

stainless panels from a 79' are put on now (thank ya mr. hammer)

I might be getting another parts car to go along with it in case I sell (to fund my next nissan/datsun project )

Um dont think its worth anything. Towtruck driver will charge you more than its worth. Let me take it off your hands for free.

I paid $2000 for mine and it had about 81,000 miles on it. Your interior looks to be in perfect shape. I have a million cracks in my dash (now covered up with a dash cover). Everything else in my car was in awsome condition. I would pay between $2500 and $3000 for yours. But really dont know what its worth. I see people ask close to $5000. Just ask and see what you will get.

Just take some low res. pics in a rich part of town with expensive stuff in the background, and put it on ebay for $6,000.

Seriously though if you take the wing off and fill the holes you made in the hatch, you can probably get a good 2500 out of it from the right buyer.

yeah the 83' I'm going to buy soon (parts car) I'm taking the hatch off of it and painting it, that way if they don't like the wing they can just change the hatch. is a 2+2 hatch the same size as a coupe?

You got the bug!!! Once it's done it just seems like life has stalled. To be honest I wish I could afford to give you 2500-3000 for it. I'd like to have a coupe to go with the 2+2.

The hatches are not the same. If your parts car is a 2+2 there are a lot of parts that will not interchange. From the Dash forward the car is the same. The hatch finish panels from the wheel wells back are the same. The big difference is in the middle of the car. The 2+2 is somewhere around 8-9 inches longer.

Unfortunately, the rear wing will reduce the value of your car by at least $500. Anyone that sees that wing will think the car has been driven hard by a "ricer", even if that's not the case. Everything else looks good otherwise. I'd say it's probably in the $2k to $3k range.

Remember, you never get out of them what you put into them.

i've made a profit on every Z i've owned.

Z32 made 100 on, purchased for 3.9 put in 1k sold for 5k lol

260 made 2.2k on purchased for 1k sold parts to fund turbo swap so no money lost. sold for 3.2k

280 made 4.2k on. purchased for 1.8k all parts and paint supplies were x-mas presents, did all my own work so i never put any more than 1.8k of my own money into it other than gas and oil, sold for 6k

soooo... yup! i know... im a genius
