Viscous vs electric

Hello again, my old viscous fan seized on tight and spins with the motor. The local auto store had 2 part numbers for a replacement, I tried both and both have the same issue, very noisy all the time and sounds like the fan never eases off and I never used to hear it as much as this. I knew that the water pump wouldn't handle that load all the time and now the water pump it noisy! Is there actually a correct vicous clutch for this car or am I going to just replace the pump and go down the electri fan way? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Electric fans are nice, but make sure you buy quality ones. I bought an ebay knock-off efan and it lasted less than a year, died while I was 800mi from home. As for a fan clutch replacement, I'd personally source a used working one online or from a junk yard. I trust parts store parts less & less these days.
