Welp got my t top road worthy drove it down to richmond va 500 mile one way. 75 80 ran perfect got to my paps the god dam tail light fuse popped yet again! So pulled the dome fuse plugged it in the tail lamp fuse got my lights all is good minus the dome lamp no longer has a fuse you turn the switch on the front center movey light the door light on the dash turns on and off with the switch. . . . With the car running the floor lights come on dim??? Any thoughts buzz still in dash with all relays disconnected ??

 

Bad ground somewhere or the light switch has gone bad

Sure can. . . . Can I post vids or do 8 have to go to a third party sight. . . . Really belive its the delay dim down thingy for the dome lights unplugged everything under the dash. . . Buzz is also turned off by pushing the door switch rapidly. . . . May cut wires to the door switch

 

Unplug the dome light delay if you suspect that. Also don't cut the wires on the door switch - unplug them.

 

That's what I'm trying to find. . . . . Where and what is it? ? Manual don't show it

Get under the dash and look at the shaft on your brake pedal. There should be a rubber "plug" that will activate the brake light switch. If it's gone, the switch peg goes through the hole where the rubber plug is supposed to be, and your brake lights stay on.

Simple fix: Get a nut and bolt that fits the hole, and play around with the length until the switch works. Tighten it down good and never worry about it again.

 

Its actully the tail lights brake lights are fine. . . .I'm pulling the dash and gutting the interior again its driveing me nuts. . . . . . Pulled everything on the fuse block every last relay in the car all lighting stereo speakers fuel pump harness blower motor and still got this buzzing frying egg sound can't get my body in far enough under the dash to see everything lol been talking to myself a lot lately wifes getting worried.

 

Oh and who in the hell can read the wireing dia gram? No help there is some resotermo diggy do fucous after a long search turns out its the dimmer switch lol urr may take it to the garage
