i konw ur not susposed to replace only one injector. but.. i kina have no choice cuz i have limited spending funds. my father has been a big help through all of my z problems. he is gana loan me the money for a new injector. i figure though im not susposed to replace just one.. hopefully 1 will hold me off until i get my sighning bonus from the army, and then im gana drop 10 g's on my engine..

damn...10g's? you better be fully rebuilding, balancing, and blueprinting it with a nice new turbo setup for that kinda money!

Hey therm, you CAN replace only one FI. I would recommend cleaning the rest of them though to ensure they're operating optimally. That way you don't have a huge fluctuation between cylinders. But generally speaking, you are right. But only if the rest of the injectors can't keep up with the new one.

welll kreagens is sellin me a rebuilt one for 70 bucks.. so ima pop that in and yes i planned on gettina full rebuild for my 10 g's along with blueprinting, balancing, new zxt injectors, possibly.. a bore and stroke to 3.1 a nice turbo. dished pistons, nice MSA cam. Monza duel 3 into 2 into 1 header, with a 3" pipe running to prolly a flowmaster. no cat. that just the engine. then prolly about 2gs on a nice paint job. and new interior, rip out back seats, all lining, carpet dash get 2 nice leather seats. have the dash replaced new white back gauges with blue lighting. short shift kit. new 8 spoke zx rims, low pros, new louvers, or just repaint mine. all window tint. and a nice duel 12'' subs system, new 5 1/2's in the back tweaters in the front and amps where the old back seats were.. new struts and springs, maybe get a lower geard rear lsd rear end. i want it to b a sprinter, and cornering car. just a rough guess after all that engine work im just guessin around 300+ at the crank. hopefuilly.. im pushin a whole 140 right now..

all that ENGINE work u just said won't be $10k... more like $5k - $6k. I personally think you'd be hard pressed trying to get to $10k on the engine itself.

Fully built:
-forged pistons & rods: $1500 - $2000
-stroker crank: $200
-machine work $800
-headwork $1000
-misc other engine parts $800
-optional turbo upgrade $500
-fuel management: $1000

anything else?

Therm,
I'd change just the one injector, but change the o-rings on all. I've done that before with no problems...

Everyone's always neglecting the suspension and brakes. Well if Nismo's quotes there are accurate, then you should probably toss some of that into keeping the car planted. Hate to see all that power go to waste cause the car won't stay on the road when you actually use that power.

Before you buy 1 remanufactured injector, check around with some local machine shops or call your local NAPA and see if anyone around you rebuilds them. I had mine rebuilt for about 15 bucks each. If you're gonna take the rail out, and you're already prepared to spend 70 bucks on 1 injector, it may be worth looking into. You may be able to get them all fixed up nice and new like for a just a few bucks more. I know some of the larger NAPA locations have the equipment on hand and at least 1 guy who is really good at doing it. I did mine almost 2 years ago and they're working great.

Rod.
