Well, At least I found it at home...
Came home from work today so I could look at a house to rent... I know, not the point. When I moved my car so we could take the wife's Urban Assault Vehicle ('99 land Rover SD... BEAST!), I saw what looked to be a coolant leak from the Z. Which is weird. Last time it was dripping coolant, I had a bad water pump.
Anyway, after crawling over the top of the car and checking the hoses, water pump, and block............. I found that it was the drain plug. I guess 27 years is the life of one of those. Damn thing broke off right under the the wing. Had to tap a small Allen wrench in there to extract the part that was broken off and dripping like crazy.
Quick late trip to Wal Mart to get supplies to drain the radiator (before removal of said broken drain plug).... Yeah, that was fun.
So. How hard is it to locate a radiator drain plug for this car? Not something that I've ever come across in any threads that I remember. Regular parts store? Dealer? Ice(who doesn't live too far from me...)???
This is my DD, so I need an answer quick!
