Sunday Morning, April 26th. 9:00 a.m.
Join us for the 2009 West Coast Nationals Peoples Choice Z Car Show on Sunday! With the landslide of positive responses from the last two years, we will again have the show at beautiful Oak Canyon Private Park. Hidden in the hills less than ten miles east of our store, this beautiful park has abundant oak trees, an enchanting lake, as well as expansive display fields for simple parking and easy access.
The show is open to all Z Cars, from classics & daily drivers to race & show-only cars. Due to the overwhelming response, we will again have separate sections for 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX, 300ZX (Z-31), 300ZX (Z-32), and 350Z. We believe some 370Z's are going to show up also! The People’s Choice Awards will be given in all individual classes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as specialty awards for Best Work-In-Progress, Best Race-Prepared, Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Engine Compartment, and Best of Show.
We’ll have a great Z-Parts Vendor Row, where you can speak directly with the manufacturers, see their own show cars & all of the hottest new parts. There will be good food & music, and opportunity drawings for great Z prizes all day long.
So bring your own Z and participate in the world’s largest annual Z Car Show! Joining the actual exhibition means you park in the middle of the action, with all of the other same Z models. The past two year’s participants overwhelmingly mentioned that the camaraderie of sharing their own Z with other enthusiasts on the field, who had similar Z’s and interests, was their favorite part of the show, even if their Z wasn’t finished yet. You’ll also have a close-by place to keep all of your stuff, and relax in lawn chairs. It’s literally a day in the park! Register early, as we expect to sell out again this year.
Registration for this event is $22.00 per Z Car, without event T-Shirt (see related items below for registration with event T-shirt, for $32.00 per Z car). Still the lowest fee for any car show we know of! The deadline for Registration is April 6, 2009. We look forward to seeing you at the show!
NOTE: The T-Shirt alone sells for $15.00, so if you're buying a T-Shirt anyway, choose the show entry with show shirt below, and you will save five bucks on vehicle registration!
Registration Note: Due to the venue, pre-registration is absolutely mandatory.
Vehicle Classification Notes: The following modifications will be allowed in the STOCK class. Please note any other modifications to your vehicle in the Additional Info field above for consideration. Vehicles will be inspected at the show for compliance, so please classify your vehicle accurately:
*Headers & performance exhaust systems
*Hitachi to S.U. carburetor conversions
*Performance air cleaners
*Individual front air dams which DO NOT replace the original bumpers
*Individual front lip spoilers that DO NOT replace the original front fascia
*Individual deck lid single-level spoilers (NOT elevated or multi-level wings)
*Upgraded wheels & tires
*Please give us a call for more details about the requirements to be classified in the Race Prepared class.

I wish I could make it. I would like to one of these years. I just rolled over 225k on my '82. And I don't think I could make it that far with him. Anyway I am so broke...and in major debt right now. I am trying to crawl out of my hole. Hopefully next year..I can bring my '82 slicktop. I am going to be working on it here soon. Take lots of pictures people.

ANY TIPS!! will help. Good News...I will be going to the Z store tomorrow and pick up some goodies Hey any ideas? I need paint but its not going to happen any time soon so i'm looking for engine upgrades.
Oh and I have the tokico setup and polyurathane bushings
Do you think I need to replace lower ball joints?

Where is the leak?
How are the ones on the car right now? If you are going to tear apart the front control arms, yes, replace them.

#1: So the mechanic said you have an exhaust leak, and will be $400 to fix, but didn't tell you WHERE or WHAT was leaking?
#2: Which Z is this? The turbo or n/a? That gasket is not the correct one for either. The 280zxt manifold to turbo is rectangular like that, but has no center bar. The n/a is triangular w/ two port holes & 3 stud holes.

I need gasket for Turbo and I kinda had 2 different guys take a look but they both seemed like they didn't want to do it.
So i guess i will be doing it myself but which is best removal from the top or bottom? I will buy the right gasket tomorrow when I go to the Z store. I think what I may do is broadcast live over the internet when i take it apart so someone maybe could help.

IF I make it this year, it will only be as a spectator. My Z is still in a thousand pieces in my garage.
I had planned on having it back together long before now, but the Z budget ran dry back in August when... 2 days after picking up my new $90,000.00 car at the Nissan Dealership, I was informed by my employer that my position had been "Eliminated"
Been living off of savings and a worthless 401K since then.

Will do Apollo, hopefully I can take some video footage if I can borrow my friend's digi camcorder. My Z will be going, but with some slight damage since an idiot decided he wanted to recreate a scene from Days of Thunder and rubbed up on my Z's front fender and wheel on the highway... And to top it off he had no registration or current insurance either. I can't even touch up the missing paint until after I get an appraiser to look at the damage.

Damn it! Whats with hella people on this board getting their rides totally disrespected?! My Z while it was parked, Rods Skyline, your Z by some butt pirate. . .Im sorry to hear that, lifegrddude. Right after you got those new wheels too. Im assuming the guy stopped and you got his info since you said he had no papers. Is your insurance going to cover you? Did you at least knock his teeth out or use his face to buff the paint?

I will be going but without my Z...I will take my Nikon D60 though so you can bet there will be a lot of Hi-Res Pictures and I will post them as I can...this is my first time and I have heard a lot of good things. I am very excited , hope to run into some of you zdriver people...only if I knew how to recognize you all

Apollo, yeah it sucks big time haha. My insurance will cover it, but I gotta pay the deductible for it. I can't believe the guy was trying to put the blame on me when he was the one in the exit lane and came over. I told him there was no way I'd want to merge into the exit lane since my exit wasn't for another 4 exits... I swear I think he was on drugs or something. I'm pissed my wheel has rash all the way around the whole rim. I don't think that'll be enough to warrant my insurance company to replace the entire wheel.
Njgheewala, I'll be at the show, you can't miss my 280zx. It's probably the only black 280zx at the show with shaved doors and Rota RB-R wheels. (and now with new souvenir scratches on the passenger fender) I'll stick around by my car for the first 30 minutes of the show before I start to walk around in case you want to meet up and talk for a few.
