wheel alignment question
I took my 280zx to the tire shop today to get an alignment...the only thing they could do was the toe-in to spec. Everything else is preset at the factory and cannot be adjusted. So does this mean i cannot get a proper camber? They tell me that my car will drift right, and to correct this i need to "slot the struts" - what does that mean? should i do it? is there another way to correct this?
Thanks for any help!

theres a few things you can do for camber... MSA sells a camber kit for both front and rear and theres also a spacer for your front strut that you can add to lower your A arm to correct camber on lowered cars...

I don't know about "slots in the struts", man. Sounds kinda shady, though I have heard of that. But not for the kind of strut we have. I have seen what icice9 is talking about but I never heard of anyone using them...hopefully somone can chime in on that. But yes...unless you get those products nothing much you can do for camber...I'm having the same problem.

my friend just got the camber kit from MSA and it looked like it worked out well for him... it did straighten out his wheels both front and back but he had to get the work done by a shop.. you need to use a hole saw to get the camber kit in for the rear.. and the front has to get pressed in.. but all and all it seemed to *** his camber...
