white vinager for corrosion on electrodes
Try this tip,
Soak your connector plugs in white vinager. Acid eats away corrosion, flush with alcohol, to stop acid reaction..let it dry,....works better than contact cleaner imhop. cheap to boot.
Result comes out shiny, just don't dip for too long.
Vinager is a strong acid, counter acts the base.
kenny.

Vinegar is an acid not a base btw. If it was a base, baking soda would be acidic instead of a base.
But your idea does work, just make sure to really rinse off the connectors else it will corrode worse then it was

Hey, I went to my chemistry class... I just didn't pay attention :P
well, I know a little about acids and bases, but I'm still confused with what CLR and all those have to do with it...
