Window issue...yes or no answer

[COLOR=Indigo]Will a window from a 1981 280zx 2+2 fit in a 1983 280zx? Can't seem to find this anywhere. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Okay that's cool LOL! Anyway I bet Bleach would know, he owns a 2 + 2. But I think the windshield would be the same. I think the only difference is the t-tops, door windows, and the rear side windows. Hey Bleach, correct me if I am wrong!

Well, Bleach has not responded...I really hope you are right...I am about to blow $ on a window that I won't need. At least I will have one.

I still have some time, so if I can get a definate yea or nea, I would greatly appreciate it. If not, send me a message if anyone wants it. Thanks!

I hope so too, that would suck if it didn't fit. Also dothedreww888 has a 2 + 2 if I remember correctly. Try contacting him, I think he is still on here. I don't really see why the windshield would not fit. But like I said it isn't gospel until you find out from somebody that has a 2 + 2.

OH NO! I didn't check this forum for 3 whole hours!

Yes, all the 280ZX windshields are the same. 2-seater, 2+2, and turbo will interchange.
I hear the turbo windhshield is faster though... especially if you put a big TURBO sticker accross the top of the glass.

Wow, really? Sticker aerodynamics is a fast advancing field, huh! Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your help. Have a good day.

Just remember to put a big NOS sticker on your quarter windows ... adds 50hp, so I've heard.

Seems like there's not as many 2+2 owners on here any more ...

When installing performance adding decals, remember to only mount them on the INSIDE of the glass. This helps maintain the laminar flow of air over the glass, and keeps to coefficient of drag to a minimum. I've read many sad tales of individuls who thought they would get a perfmormance boost by adding such decals as "Nismo", "Turbo" or "NOS" to their car only to find that it slowed the car down slightly, rather than giving it extra power. Pass this message on to any would-be ricers that may benefit from this sound, labratory proven advice.

Rod.
