That's not a stupid question man. I've never taken the windshield out of my ZX so I don't have any idea how to remove those damn clips that hold it in. I paid the $150 to have mine replace, plus if they screw up, it's got a warranty so they have to fix it. So if that's was a stupid question, there wouldn't be so many windshield repair shops. I've replaced the windshield on my mustang, but that was simply pulling the weatherstrip, heating the glue, and kicking it out.

well in that case I can tell everyone not how to do it... Don't try to pull it up with a screwdriver! I busted the whole driverside top of my windshield doin that . If anyone has any ideas let me know
Thanks

ok well I got it out and I only broke it 3 times. haha that sux but oh well I have another windsield so no worries.... DON'T USE A SCREWDRIVER. I used a razor knife and I cut off all the glue (inside the car and out) cut between the window and the body and it pushed right out! I wihs I had done that from the start

It's glass and it doesn't bend and the glue is designed to keep the window in the frame even in the event of an accident. Think about how much force is being applied. That glue is designed to hold that glass REAL good. Without separating the glass from the glue, it will break every time. And don't use a screw driver!
