Windshield wipers
So today I got a muffler fabricated for my 280zx, makes a big difference now with the noise. Anyways, my car finally seems to be coming together...However, my wipers died out on me, I doubt its the motors for it. Probably wiring or a fuse, it was raining and I just got home so I didn't touch anything.
Any ideas?

alas my wipers just went out last night after fixing a faulty drivers seatbelt. I checked fuses last nigh and they wee fine. to check yoursjust switch your cabin light fuse and wiper motor and if your lights still work you know your fuse is good and the problem lay somwhere else.
next I'm going to use a voltmeter from my friends house to measure the current at the motor to see if it is getting any juice or not.
Question: when you say wiper switch do you mean the actuall **** or are you referring to some electrical component? where do you get new one?

no ideas for tach and fuel indicator but as fo your wipers I just fixed mine... kinda.
How did your wipers stop? if they got stuck engauged then it is the motor. try turning them on and wiggling the wiper arms there is a good chance the motor is dying and loosing power, but not dead yet. if they start up keep them running and oil up all the joints beaneth the black grille above the hood that should put off replacing the motor for at least another rauiny season.
if they stopped in the down position and wont engauge again then it is probably the switch. make sure to check the fuse though.
