Wheres everybody been. Either we're all having a really good day and dont have anything wrong with our cars or somethings amiss. It's been dead round these parts all day. Which is strange for the 280zx forum. Really strange I mean the frickin 300zx forums have seen more posting then us today WTF is up with that

I think it's just been me and Nismopick working on our post counts today

That's why you set the taskbar to autohide!

I do agree though. It's been really damn slow around here. See we don't have that many threads about problems with the cars, so we spend alot of time talking about nothing. We've run out of nothing to talk about. I start browsing the Z31 forums because I'm bored.

Just been slaving in the garage. I got doors on the 79, 1 fender, and the hatch and the tail lights. You know, the little stuff. My 79 don't look so beat to **** now. I still don't know how to get the window trim off. Lets talk about that.

For the windsheild, I just removed the side mouldings by pulling the seal out and removing all screws. Then you can pull up away from the windsheild, while pulling towards the back of the car You will probably still break the clips or bend the moulding, so the best bet is to get behind it with a sharp putty knife and cut the clips. I reinstalled mine with a lot of windsheild urethane, works good. the B pillar mouldings are held on by two nuts inside the car. One is behind that plastic cover, and the other one is somewhere, dont have interior and its been so long. there are a couple clips on that too, just pull straight away from the car ond no one gets hurt. I never took the moulding off the back glass, so you are on your own there.

For The Windscreen Trim, Take Off The Side Trims As Described Above, Then You Can Almost Slide The Top And Bottom Trims Off The Car. If Not Then Carefully Pry On One End And Look With A Flashlight. Figure Out Which Way The Clip Has To Move And Use A Putty Knife To Disengage It. I Think, But Cant Remember, The Clip Must Be Pushed From The Paint Side Towards The Glass Side.
