Body repairs
Ok, my 300zx was my step dads before i got it and before he gave it to me he had backed into a tree and crushed in the back drivers side of the car right where the light area is. My ex g/fs dad has a car paint shop and he repaired the body work with bondo and made it LOOK like normal but all the metal under there is still crushed and rusting and its slowly starting to show through the paint.
The thing is with these cars is they don't have rear fenders so its not like i can just swap it and paint. Will an autobody shop be able to cut off the back end and re-fabricate it all so that its back to normal or what do i need to do to fix this issue? i dont want the rust to spread and me lose my car.
This is an important issue to me so please respond.

Any compatent body shop should be able to fix it.
the repair basically consists of cutting out the old panel and installing a new peice of metal over the hole.
you'll get more info when others start to resond.

A good body shop can fix that no problem. Living in "GatorVille", you really need to watch out for rust. I took my car out to our home in Tallahassee last year for two months... two months in Florida did more damage to my paint than two years here in SoCal, and the rust out there just runs rampant!
