Why don't you write the seller and ask them if they're street legal? Some are. Some are not. If there is no DOT number associated with them, they are not legal for use on the roads in the US.

Look at the seller's feedback.

Also... Frank has two threads talking about the pros & cons of those headlights:

I have those on my 86 turbo. Let's just say, stay away from the projector style ones. The bracket for those lenses are weak and don't hold the weight very well. And those bulbs are crap. Mine burned out in less than 3 months.

Just my $0.02

My friend has headlights that he had in his 89 RX7 that has switchable bulbs that he put in his 84 z31 he said they fit fine, Ill find out where he got them... I dont want nothing cheap so I might just stick with the sealed beam...

and I said I dont trust those ebay sellers because I had already looked through his feedback... some people said he sent the wrong stuff or nothing at all LOL.

his negative feedback in the last few months is eclipsed by the positive. for the amount he obviously sells, I'd expect some issues. There are a lot of impatient jack asses out there that would rather post negative feedback than try to work with the seller to get the problem solved.
