find the adapter plate for your car, if possible, otherwise make it fit best as possible/make your own plate. get the stereo its self. after that you need a wiring harness for the make of your car. solder that to the radio wiring harness. should have a diagram. or at least a list of what wire is for what. find a friends that has done this before in any other car, process is fairly the sme. alot easier having a person there than getting explained to on a forum.

I bought a wiring adaptor and new mounting plate. It was easy as pie to install. The only problem I ran into was trying to get the stupid light bulb to stay in place for the cig. lighter when I put it all back together. LOL!

Yo why don't you just do your own wiring, thats what i did. And its a less fire hazardess and easier when upgrading speakers. I used the new thicker and better for speaker wiring,(can find it in all types of lengths, at walmart and its colorful) routed to the wiring that comes with a radio, then just find which wires you need for positive and negative. Even less of a hassale wire (the positive and negative) it straight to the battery, but only if you really need a radio and are tired of original wiring.

Yeah rewire. the stock system uses common grounds for right and left speaker sets. Better each speaker have a common ground. Make sure your ground at the unit is good. Bad grounds cause a lot of mysterious electric glitches. I ran new ground to rear speakers and kept the original ground for the door speakers. Car Toys has a adapter that works fine.
