Replace fogs with driving lights

First, I'm talking about an 87 model and the lenses on the foglamps have taken some big rocks. Has anybody ever replaced the fog lamps entirely with driving lamps? I don't get much fog in western Colorado but better driving lights might really help avoid smacking deer. I'd be interested if anybody has done this and been pleased with the results.

I have an '89 Z, and I also thought about swapping the factory fog lights to aftermarket fog or driving lights. After some research, however, I came to the conclusion that NOTHING fits better in the front apron slot than those stock fog lights! You could find some relatively inexpensive ones from eBay if you are patient, and after installing some 5000K super-white H3 bulbs in those babies, they'll look totally awesome!

Thanks. I didn't know about changing the bulbs in the foglights. I did break down and buy a replacement foglamp from Nissan. Cost $70+. I'm still looking for a headlamp but I can't seem to make the reserve for the one on e-bay.
