warning lights

last night i got a few lights on my dash. one was the battery and the other only went on when i turned my headlights on. the symbol looks like a carosel or house looking thing.

can anyone tell me what that symbol is for? i dont have an owners manual.

The "house looking thing" is the radiator warning light. Check your coolant level, including the overflow bottle. As to the battery, what is your volt gauge reading?

the coolant level is good and its clean. the voltometer is reading normally until i turn on the lights or subs. im hoping its the battery.
plus the lights that went on last night were pretty much all of them and they all go on and off when im driving. i checked the connection at the gauge pod and thats good. is there another place were they all come together that might be loose?

Sounds like the problem might be your battery and/or alternator. If there's an AutoZone near you, I would suggest taking your car there. They will normally test both for free.

they can test the alternator while it's in the car.

Yup, AutoZone can test the battery and alternator while it's in the car - no need to remove either one. They will also run the ECU codes on certain models - you just have to check with the AutoZones within your area to see if they can provide these services.
