New Springs!
WHOOOHOOO FINALLY orderd my springs! B&G Springs from Shox.com. They are listed on the site as 199$ and the guy quoted me (and rang up) 179$! sorry i was excited about that, lol. Ill keep you guyz posted when i get them, with pics and stuff.
I have a question tho. Im going to have to buy new shocks, but i dont have the money right now. Should i wait to install the springs untill i get the shox. Will my shox i have in there ware out that fast? I think they are gabriels or something.

The rears, you can do either springs or shocks seperately. They function together, but somewhat independently.
The front is an entirely different set up. You're gonna' have to break the spring down to change the strut cartrage, so, it only makes sense to do the complete front, all at the same time.
From a purely personal preference viewpoint, I'd want it all new when I dropped the jack, and would continue to save my nickles until I could purchase the entire package.

word thanks. Im gonna have to save a lot of pennies but it will be worth it.
As for the STRUT cartrige. I buy 4 New shocks and use the same strut cartrige right? I dont have to buy anything different for the front then the back?

The rear shocks bolt to the top of the shock tower (under the rear speakers) and at the bottom to a bracket on the control arm. You can do the rears without removing anything but the speakers and maybe the wheel/tire assembly, if you don't want to get under the car.
To replace the front cartridges, the entire McPherson strut assembly comes off of the car. Three bolts at the top of the shock tower and two bolts at the bottom knuckle arm puts it on the floor. Then you should compress the spring, remove the gland nut, take the old cartridge** out of the tube, put in the new, and put it all back together in reverse order. The McPherson strut is very similar to a shock absorber, but not so easy to work with.
**Note: If the strut has never been changed, you're gonna' find an oily mess inside the tubes. Clean it all out before inserting the new cartridge.

yea they came red. Im trying to decide between Tokico Hps and Bilstien ... $189 or $379. I want to make sure i get good performance so i am hesitant on the Tokico. I think im gonna go with the bilstiens.

good luck with those, they kick some major ***. be careful in the rain though, the camber in the rear is insane. Its about 3 o4 degrees negative camber. It will eat your tires like there is no tomarrow. The looks and handling is ****ing amazing though.

They are ****ing bad ***, just be prepared to spend lots of money on tires, because the camber is horrible. I have tociko blues, huge improvement. No picks (no digital camera) but the ties sit about 3/4 of an inch from the fenders front and rear.
