Talking Rear Camber Perfection...

I'm using coil-overs on my z31. I can about "drop the bottom" out of it, if I want. I don't really want to drag the floor pan, but, I do want it to sit as low as practical.

Prior to the coil-overs I ran the Eibachs, and, even then my rear camber was horrible. The wheels and tires were tucked so far in the up position only about 35% of the tire was in contact with the road surface. Bad mojo when applying some power.

So, I fixed it...

I lowered the outer mounting hole for the left control arm 3/4"...

I lowered the outer mounting hole for the right control arm 1 1/4"...
I had to get a little extra because the camber was 1.50 degrees worse on the right side. This required adding some extra material to the mounting tab.

That took care of it...

0.50 degree of negative camber on each side...

Gorgeous! Any thoughts on why the right was so much farther out? Tweaked control arm?

Thanks... Don't have a clue why there was such a difference. There was no visable damage, and, nothing appears to be out of whack. Just a Nissan.

Nice job. I'd like to get all the camber out of mine, but it really doesn't wear as badly as I thought it would. It's nothing compared to the inner tire wear I had on my 240SX anyway. I don't plan on lowering my car though.

why not just make a new mount with little ticks to measure the camber?
