Removing Suspension Arm
Hello,
I am in the process of replacing the rear bushings on a 87 z and I am running into problems separating the Driveaxle from the Differential. I tried using a pry bar to tap between the Driveaxle and the differential but the driveaxle isn't separating. Any other ideas on what I can do. Is it possible that this thing is sealed on so tight that I would need some heat to help break the seal?
Thank you in advance.
Andrew

It sounds like they are rusted together. You might try soaking it in some good ol' WD40.
Or if you need to get drastic. Make sure all the bolts are out, pull the E-brake REALLY tight, and put it in gear. Good luck.
