Strut Removal
#1
Ok i need some info on removing the front strut i have already completed the rear but now i am working on the front struts. I have the wheel off and everything but which nuts do i need to remove. On the bottom of the strut there is a small bolt that bolts onto the bottom which i removed because i thought a nut may be under that to take the strut off of the bar next to the brake disk. I already have the top part off does anyone have any suggestions which ones to take off?

Dude, you really need to invest in either a Chilton's, Hayne's or both. Trying to decipher what bolts you're talking about from your description is near impossible. I'm not giving you a bad time, but you really need to be better prepared when you take on an unfamiliar project than to just assume somebody on ZDriver will have the answer you're looking for. Those aftermarket manuals may suck, but they are way better than nothing. Don't forget to use a good spring compressor (and use it correctly) when changing out those front struts... It isn't worth losing your head over.
Rod.
EDIT:
P.S. Oh my God... I'm turning into AZ ZBUM

No i have already figured out which bolts to remove. Now i have the whole strut off but it had to come along with the brake disk. I took off the brake disk and now i am left with what the strut is connected to which is the thing that holds the brake disk on. How do i disconnect these to?

It's called a REPAIR MANUAL for a reason. Go buy one and read it.
These type of questions are answered in the REPAIR MANUAL. If you have to ask a question like this, you obviously need to have one nearby if you plan on working on your car any more.
And some pictures I took when I changed the struts in mine back in 1995.

Note the HAYNES REPAIR MANUAL on the ground.

the manual is an invaluable tool. get one. it provides pictures and well written, detailed instructions on how to perform maintainence. it should be the FIRST thing you check, even before searching here, let alone posting. the time to post here is when you come across something in the manual that you dont fully understand or are having trouble with, or if you just want some advice on how to best perform a process, and also if the process is not covered by the manual. i dont care how many times i have performed a specific maintainence task, i still at least flip through the manual as a sanity check, even for oil changes. doing something right the first time is always better than doing it, and possibly a lot more, again.
