2000 Audi TT Intercooler.
One of my friends is an Audi tech at a local dealership. So when a car gets into an accident they bring the car to the dealer body shop. So my friend was looking in the aluminum scap barrel when he seen an intercooler. I guess the car was under waranty and got into a front end accident. There are 2 intercoolers on a TT one was wasted and the mounting clips broke on the other. It looks kind of small and not worth the time (but I want to use it). It's 3 3/8" thick, 7" tall and 7 1/4" wide. The core looks sweet, a few fins are bent but can't b!tch when it's free right? any info or tips would be great

a) not all TT's have two ICs.
b) warranty doesn't cover accidents, insurance does.
c) what are you asking? You say you are looking for tips or information when it looks to me like you've provided all of it already.

Re: 2000 Audi TT Intercooler.
basically, I want to know is how much is it going to do being it's so small. I have never seen a conquest, supra TT, or a saab IC before. Also are there any better ways of doing the mod. I know i can figure it out myself but if someone has found the best way of doing it I would like to know.
As far as the original post goes. I was in a hurry when I was writing it. I'm sorry I miss typed some stuff. Why don't you just not point that out and just answer the question at hand. If you don't understand what I am explaing, just ask me to clarify myself instead of making me look like a fool you look like a D!CK
thankx and no hard feelings

sheesh man, relax. better ways of adding an IC? As far as I know, about the only options you really have is actual placement.
Buy Fall 2002 issue of Sport Z Magazine and turn to page 38.

Put IC in a place that gets a lot of fresh cool air.
Keep the pipes as short as possible.
Use mandrel bends if possible.

IC install instructions...
bolt IC in position.
remove up pipe from turbo to throttle body.
cut and bend pipes to fit.
routing is from turbo to IC and IC to throttle body.
The only kits you'll ever find is a Spearco or Greddy kit. And those are about $1000 and include all piping and IC and everything.
There is no kit for the supra IC or any other brand IC that I'm aware of.
