I have a 87turbo that the ac wont work in i had it charged but the guy at the shop said he didnt know much about these cars but he said he thinks its a vacum leak in the hose that wont let some door open if this is true is it something i can fix myself or do he know what hes talking about. Anybody got any idea?

the air mix doors are controlled by vacuum operated solenoids.

check all your lines and replace any that are cracked or missing
