What the heck is "bodysonic" and whatt does it do? I've got a deal on some seats for my AE but for a lesser price he's removing the bodysonic feature.

If you don't know what bodysonic is, you don't have a read AE.

Body sonic seats are transducers that are built into the seats. Four in the base, and four in the back. They vibrate with the music simulating the feeling you would normally get from subs. There are controls in the center console to turn the feature on or off and to adjust their intensity.

That makes the name make more sence. Although I could deal with out it in my seat. Just give me a pair of 12's and call it a day.. haha

thats like the idea i taht i had...like i always see in arcades on those racing games seats with 2 speakers mounted on there..... always wanted to do that i think its cool

The advantage to body sonics over a set of 12s? Virtually no room is required for the transducers in the seats.

The reason I asked is, the moron who had this car before me dissconnected the bodysonic when the cd player was installed. So the ***** are there, the seats are the AE seats, but nothing happens when you turn the *****. I have found a stock stereo and a/c controller (not AE but it'll do for now). Will the bodysonic connect to this unit??

no. the body sonic seats will not work with a non AE stereo. You CAN make them work with an aftermarket stereo. And, depending on the amp, figure a way to make the center ***** work too.

Basically, you take the low frequency signal only from the stereo and pipe it through an amplifier and into the seats. Not too much power as these seats were not designed for much power.
