how do i burn out/peel out from stop on an 88 non turbo??

either power brake ..or put on really cruddy tires in the rain.. or throw it in neutral and back in drive at 6000 rpm.. all of these will mess up your ride..so happy burning..

its near impossible to power brake in an all-wheel-disc car, especially in one with such little power as the n/a, but it can be done. something like idling to about 2 or 3 mph then easing into the brakes while at the same time giving it gas. i havent tried it myself, these damn autos are fragile enough,lol. or you could always get a line lock.

alright to do a burn out what you need to do is come to a stop. put your heal of your right foot on the brake and use your toe to hit the gas now rev it up to about 3000-4000 and let out the clutch and as you let out give it more gas and if you start to role just hit the brakes a little harder. now get ready to try to get all of the tire smoke out of your car hehe

are you trying to do a burn out or a brake stand?

they are not the same thing. And a brake stand is VERY hard on your car. Not a smart thing to do.

it can be done, but as mentioned, you'd tear up your car more than tire you'd spin. i.e. put it in neutral and gun it. Then drop it in to gear. Just hope you don't drop the tranny in the process. hah

Very simple. It's called a neutral drop.

Car is stopped and in neutral. Hold RPMs at desired speed (probably start at 3500 or so). Slam car into drive. *

*I'm not responsible for your tranny falling out or any damage that WILL occur as a result of this neutral drop. I'm merely letting you know how to do it.

P.S. probably should have posted what transmission you had in the first post, right?

Come to a stop, and put your brake on. Get out of your car and toss some bleach on, under, and in front of your rear tires. Get back in, put car in drive and floor it when the light turns green.
Just think about it this way, if you drop it from neutral to drive, you are going to damage your transmission. If you hold the brake down while you rev it up in drive, you are going to burn your brakes up. <font color=red>The easiest thing to do is not to do it.</font color=red> I could peel out in a '88 Camary 2.0L engine, and a '93 Sentra 1.6L, but its easier in my '87 turbo.

HAY KID, u use that car to get to work? or do u use it everday , well if u do this stupit thing It's called a neutral drop !!!! YOU WONT BE DRIVING IT TOMORROW...THESE CARS ARE FOR RACING ON BACK ROADS AND HANDLING NOT A 1/4 MILE CAR. IF U HAVE TO SMOKE THEM UP GET A SET OF LIME LOCKS....A STALL CONVERER YOU"LL SMOKEM....BUT NEVER NEVER DROP IT INTO DRIVE....YOU"LL DROP ALRIGHT EVERYTHING

if your looking to not mess up your car and get PHAT tire smoke like on a home video.. just to impress your friends just take half a quart of motor oil and drench your rear tires and the ground hoilding your brakes down just a little bit give it some gas trust me if u want big tire smoke and not messing up your car do that...
