Burnout
I greatly underestimated my zx today. i have an 85 turbo. My friends kept eggin me on to spin the tires so i said wtf who cares ( normally i baby my car). i white smoked the livin $h1t outta it. made like a 30 -40 foot mark in street. im 16 and this is the first car i've had. but i've been drivin since i was 9. just thought i'd share my first great burnout.

Re: Burnout
ya man i know. i just don't wanna make these tires go bald. probably the most fun i had last night was spinnin some dohnuts. but then stopping in the middle of all the smoke with my windows down wasnt very cool ( kinda hard to breathe all that dam smoke when you have asthma).

Re: Burnout
I have a manual, but I had to drive my friend's auto in a parade. I couldn't do a standing still peel, but let me hit a corner.. I turned her all the way around.
But yea, having a manual helps A LOT! A lot of people in my club have autos and hate that they can't spin like me. Even the guys with the small block chevy engines.. lol...

Re: Burnout
lol. my friend did the sam thing. cept he was doing 52 in a 35. they gave him 2 tickets. a $142.00 ticket for speeding and a $145.00 for no proof of insurance. needless to say his parents flipped. but it was his moms fault he didnt have insurance on him. she took it outta the car for something and never put it back.

o man, that sux!!! i didn't even tell my parents i had gotten the ticket, it was 90 bux, so i payed for it out of my own money i had, the cop said i didn't have to go into court or n e thing and then i was all happy.........next couple weeks i checked the mail incase n e thing got returned, and the 1 day i didn't check, somethin came in the mail sayin i had to go in for a hearing.......my parents flipped on me, i thought they weren't gonna get me a car after that, until my dad found my z for 1000 bux which is a steal......hehe

Re: Burnout
In washington, the no proof of insurance ticket is $490.
I got one once... but got it waved the next day for a $30 fee because I really did have insurance, just no proof with me. Whew!
got pulled over because I blew a fuse and my tail lights were out...
