i have a 1988 NA that adore. it has 163k miles and does not leak a drop of oil. well to make a long story short i got off of work tonight put my key in the ignition and got nothing. the battery voltage is good and all my lights and accesories work fine and do not dim when i turn the key so i do not think its the battery. every time i turned the key it would click and the security light would flash. a friend showed up with jumper cables and that did nothing so since my works parking lot is at a angle we pushed the car back let it pick up speed going down hill and popped the clutch. it started right up. knowing i cant work on it on my street i left it at work. when i shut it off and turned the key again same thing. Click and security light would flash once. please help me...

 

It's not the alarm. It sounds more like the starter, battery terminals, or wiring between the starter and the battery.

 

fixed, it was the switch under the clutch petal.
