Dr. Buddha !!!

I've been trying to contact you in responce to the aftermarket hood thread. Do you sell the hood that you make? Sorry but I couldn't get a responce from you any other way so here we go.

Stupid question?

This may be a dumb question but... What exactly is the function of the hood? Is it purely cooling or also for air induction?

it is both depending on if you are stock i orignaly built it for a carbated v8 convertion, but a friend of mine liked it so i built him one and he has a highly modifed z31 engin and the hood helped him achive 16 hp from routing the air over his throtelbody and he made a sheetmeteal chanel to his k&n in the nose of his z31 not to menchen its a bad *** hood.i hope i anserd your questons.

Sorry, not at this particular moment in time (got fired). But more likely than not, I will be interested in acouple months. Also, You never gave a price. What would your hood cost?

dont know really but i know it would not be as much as the carbonfiber hood thats for sure

im going to have too look at how much the mutieral coast and then ill give a price

That's cool. One last question though: If the scoop is used for air intake, what keeps water out?

the way the scoop is pointed

it runs down the hood and the air is forced up so majority of the water dose not make it in to the inside

whos-a-whatsit?

Call me retarded but I still don't get it. In the picture you posted on the other thread, the scoop is facing forward. is there a lip inside of it or something? I'm sorry but I can't figure it out.
