Flushing out coolant system.

I just bought a 1986 300zx turbo, but I was flushing out the coolant system to play it save, but as the car is running and when the thermostat opens up the water i pour in the rad cap, after a bit, shoots out rather high, this fluctuates, some times its fine then shoots out kinda at random, like a blown head gasket, but there wasnt any white smoke a little blue smoke after the car sits but after the car is driven the smoking stops, seems like it leaks a little oil into the cylinders, but could the coolant of had some kind of block sealer, cause now it seem to be smoking more then usual.

but why is the Z flowing so violently, my old 85 n/a Z did that too.

bare with me, im new at the Zs specially the turbo.

i can bare with that, but the grammer there was so bad that i had trouble following.

well, as the car heats up and the thermostat opens, you will have times when fluid will splash out. that's why the cap is "under pressure". the dead give away for the blown head gasket is oil in the coolant. do a compression test to verify a blown head gasket. also, in the event of a blown head gasket, oil would be going down, at least a little. so when you take the plugs out to check comp., look at them to see if they are oily.

I apologize for the bad grammar, i was in class at the time. See typing while trying to pay half attention to the instructor doesn't really work. When you do that, somethings gotta give, and apparently it was my typing skills.

but thanks. Ill look for oil in the coolant. and take it to a shop for a compression test.

See i have smoke, but its a blue.
i know oils getting in the block, but its such a small amount that once you run the car for a minute it will stop smoking.

the engines got 198,000 miles on it.
i want to go in and replace gaskets to get rid of the oil leak.

check compression. it sounds like your rings are shot and you need a rebuild.
