Does anyone know if the headlight assy from a 1986 ZX will fit on a 1989 ZX?
Also the dimensions of the 1986 ZX headlight and the dimensions of the 1989 ZX headlight. The reason is I want to buy aftermarket HALO headlights off Ebay from a distributor in California running an Ebay store. The add lists an application for a 84-86 300ZX but when I click the add it says all 300ZX. Which cannot be as there are 2 variants of the 300ZX series, the Z-31 which is my 1989 model and the Z-32 series which is 1990 to 1996 models.

Any help to my question will be appreciated!

No, it will not fit, you must use 87-89 headlight assemblies. 84-86 head lights are sealed beam.
