How To Remove Door Dings
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with removing door dings from their car using dry ice? I can across that on the Internet. Also what about those dent remover kits they sell on the Internet? Has anyone ever tried those?
I just purchased a car and I have several door dings that I want to remove, thankfully none of the dents have creases in them.
Thanks.

If it's a tiny ding, you are most likely going to have to use bondo to cover it, smooth it and repaint it, but if it's a big ding and the door isn't popped in, you are most likely going to have to take it to a shop who has their own special way of dealing with them. If they aren't too big I would just leave them until other body work is needed as they are probably just going to appear again if you drive the car.

Thanks - I had a guy come out yesterday and charge me $175 to remove 7 (nickle size) dings that were in both DOORS... They did a GREAT job!!! Looks perfect and like nothing never happened!
Thanks for the tip.

Dry ice can definitely be used to remove door dings. I have had great success with the size you are talking about. Sometimes when they get to big, dry ice won't do it. I know you already have it done, but next time you should try the dry ice. It would cost you about $10 to fix the dents. Just curious, what did the guy that came out fix it with?
