I own a 1984 300zx with a non-digital dash, but I really like the look of the Digital Dashes that some 300zx's came with.

Do any of you ZDriver gurus out there know what is involved in this switch?

It is possible, but I believe there are a lot of wiring issues to deal with. Lots of people switch the other way when the digi dash breaks down.

I have never met anyone who has done it though..

 

Most people don't want the digi dash, because of the problems you can have them. I have a digi dash and am just happy it works. But if I start having some probs, I may go to analog... lol

 

The digital dash is a disappointment to many who own them and probably to the manufacturers, as well since you don't see them used anymore. The power supplies are kinda fragile after they get old. I'd learn to love analog guages and wish my 87 turbo had them instead.

 

I just wish I knew enough to like change colors or custom them and such.. lol.. I like it, but it won't fall in the color scheme that I have planned for my car. lol
