I am thinking of selling my 1986 Z31 turbo wheels, but I have no idea what they are worth. They have only a couple very light curb sratces, the paint is perfect, have all perfect centercaps, 225/50 Kumho Ecsta ASX tires with ~90% tread. Does anyone know what I could get out of these wheels/tires?

 

The wheels are worth the current price of scrap aluminum. I donno' 'bout the tires, but, maybe 50 cents on the dollar of what they sell for new.

However, if you happened upon someone with an '86 N/A who wanted to upgrade to the turbo wheels w/tires, you might get in their pocket for a couple (maybe three) Franklins...

 

I agree. Z31 wheels of any type aren't really in high demand... or 'demand' at all.

Yeah, I figured they wouldnt be worth very much, I just want to get a little extra money for my 5zigen fno1r-c fund.

 

MOST Z31 wheels are worth about $25 per wheel. 86T/84AE wheels can be worth more to the right buyer. But don't expect much over $50/wheel for any stock wheels unless they're polished, chromed, or include a *******.

I sold the 16X7 charcoal turbo wheels with so so tires off my 87T for $250 on craigslist to the first person that called on the first day posted. Try craigslist before "giving them away" for scrap prices.

 

Yeah, I do know someone who wants to buy my wheels for their NA z31. I'll probably ask like 300 since they have nearly new tires. I dont think I would ever scrap any part of a car, let alone good wheels. There is always someone who needs/wants that stuff.

 

And always someone who tries to get them for nothing by devaluing them.
