Too detailed for most people. The Haynes is perfect for any user. Used in conjunction with the FSM, it will be a very helpful book. Actually, it's a great book on it's own. Got me through the first 8 years of my Z31 ownership. And at only $15, it's a great reference book.

If he's having a problem figuring out this simple ****, then the FSM will be far too advanced for him to have on it's own. He will need to have a Haynes manual to get the basic information it provides.
