Plenum Defined
Plenum means "air bag". A Plenum area, is the air return for an air conditioning system. Not as in AirBagSystem (LoL!) (just thought I'd clear that up)
anywho... I'm JennTekZX... I've had my zx for nearly a year.
Great forum, and very informative.
I learned alot about the vacum lines, where they go, all about the half shaft axles, throwout bearings... digital dashes, you name it, its all in here.
I don't know how many pages of the forum there are "Yet" but, i'm up to page 20 of non-stop reading and absorption.
A bit about my car:
'85 Turbo, Stick, Digital dash, and a cd/mp3 player.
205/60/15's on the front and 215/60/15's on the rear til next payday.
K&N Air Filter. and pushing 190000 miles.
ah... yes, 5 lugs!
Its interesting. How the heck do you change your vacum lines?
It surely sounds easier than it is.
so far I've found 4 that aren't hooked up to ANYthing! Just sucking up nothing! and Hard as ever! How can I put them somewhere, when I don't know where they belong? I'll keep reading. I've found all the pics for the vacume schematics for the a/c and heater. I've learned about the vac pump next to the right headlamp for the Cruise Control, and i've learned that if you disconnect the I/R for the stereo, you "Might" lose your cruise control.
I also learned... Don't drive with your halfshaft axle bad... you eventually "Stop" and the tow truck driver *might* be nice and replace it while you're at work.
Sorry to be long wind'd I just like these cars.
